The Mississauga Halton Central Intake Program (MHCIP) was established in early 2013 by Halton Healthcare Services (HHS) with funding from the Mississauga Halton LHIN. CIP Launched on April 1, 2013 and has triaged over 5000 referrals to date.

The Central Intake Program receives, triages and directs referrals to Diabetes Education Programs (DEPs) within the Mississauga Halton Region. It’s a single access point for those referring into the system. Referring physicians can feel comfortable that their patients are accessing the right care at the right place in a timely fashion.
